A lot of dirt can be dealt with by having large doormats. For the rest, simply
sucking it up with the brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner will help.
Now and then you should also wipe the floor with a damp cloth, taking care
to clean the bevels in the longitudinal direction.

Stubborn stains?
For stubborn stains such as coffee, tea, lemonade, beer, fruit or milk stains, lukewarm water with a squirt of alcohol or vinegar cleaner will be sufficient. Paint, lipstick, ink, tar, nail polish and so on can be removed with no difficulty using a conventional absorbent cloth and a universal cleaner or, depending on the stain, with nail polish remover. |
