What would life be like without any emotion? This is the motto for the new “emotion” laminate flooring collection from EGGER Floor Products.

With its wide range of 50 fashionable decors, this out of the ordinary collection goes out of its way to satisfy the personal taste of the purchaser. The clearly structured emotion colour world makes the decision easy, offering a flooring solution for every taste. Light, medium or dark laminate flooring, plus tile effects, lends an individual touch to the everyday life in the home, in the office or in shops. People are much happier with a floor that perfectly matches their personal taste and that also meets their demands of life. Brand new with emotion is the unique “EGGER FLOORING-STUDIO”, which enables the various floors to be visualised, making the customer’s purchasing decision so much easier.

No compromise flooring
emotion is a high value collection. The stylish product palette with its seven innovative surfaces and the first class quality of the entire range makes choosing the right floor very easy. A great deal of attention has been paid to luxury in the production of emotion flooring. The sound absorbing silenzio underlay promises a pleasantly natural sound. The antistatic properties of all the floors provide pleasant living conditions without any irritating static. The collection is fitted as standard with the luxurious glue-free Just clic! installation system, which allows the flooring to be laid quickly and easily without any tools. Just clic! also provides excellent surface stability.

Wide choice with clear structures
emotion comes with numerous innovations. The wide choice of 50 decors includes more than 20 completely new, stylish designs. In line with international trends in furnishings, the selection contains exotic decors, numerous oak decors and limed decors that provide a completely free hand when it comes to furnishing.

Class 31 contains 12 decors, with the Mountain Spruce, Oak and Sycamore variants among the highlights. The main attraction of the Oxford Oak decor lies in its fascinating “endless optic”. The precise transition from the decor on the front edge of the board to the next board generates a natural country house impression. All decors have the appropriate surface, for example the Rustic texture for rural designs, or perhaps Woodline for elegant wood decors and the Brilliant surface, which stunningly sets off certain other decors. The 7 mm thick boards are guaranteed for 15 years of heavy use throughout the complete living area and 5 years of moderate use in commercial areas.

With a total of 32 decors produced to a finished thickness of 8 mm, the choice in class 32 is extremely wide and varied. New developments in this class include decors such as Maple Heartwood, various oak designs, cherry and walnut. The pores in the wood sometimes follow the grain exactly to give certain decors a fascinating naturalness – real wood couldn’t be visually more beautiful. 2-sided and 4-sided WOODVISION bevelling is provided with some decors to create that perfect wood board appearance. Also in this category are five new tile decors that use marble or stone effects to convey a particularly lifelike and natural character. The new class 32 decors, which are equipped with the integrated sound absorbing silenzio underlay system, have been named “Inside Life” decors because of their particularly innovative character. Among the highlights are Oak Orleans, Olive tree Sevilla, Woodart and Doussie Aruba, all of which exemplify the trend towards exotic furnishing design. The unusual Woodstock mocca, Yew and Bornholm Spruce decors also feature among the new additions to class 32, while the stylish Honey Acacia decor is one of the “endless optic” designs available in this category. This range of flooring from the emotion collection is guaranteed for 20 years of heavy use throughout the complete living area and 5 years of moderate use in public areas.

To meet the demanding requirements of commercial projects, class 33 flooring is always provided with 2.5 mm silenzio Plus underlay. This special cellulose underlay considerably reduces overall noise levels. The sound from the flooring is particularly quiet and pleasant. The special CML production technology used for class 33 renders the flooring particularly hard wearing and impact resistant, making it the ideal choice for commercial areas. The class has a total thickness of 10.5 mm and 6 decors are available, including oak, cabreuva, Havana Ash plus some other interesting new developments. It is guaranteed for 25 years of heavy use throughout the complete living area and 5 years of heavy use in public areas.

Colour worlds that make you feel good
The choice of a new laminate floor is often far from easy due to the wide range of decors available. The question that often first arises to a purchaser’s mind is: do I want a pale or a dark floor? The emotion marketing concept therefore introduces four different colour worlds which, irrespective of the quality, help find the right flooring for every situation and every taste. This gives customers the flexibility to make a decision based on their own personal style and taste, not according to price or quality.

Light and transparent – pale flooring gives the room width and a sense of spaciousness. It exudes lightness and friendliness. Whether to contrast with coloured walls or harmonise with white ones, pale laminate flooring from the emotion collection brings peace and harmony into the living room.

The newly developed virtual FLOORING-STUDIO gives customers the ability to select the room of their choice and then, with just a few mouse clicks, to visualise how it would look after various emotion laminate floors have been laid. Any type of decor can be selected, different laying options tried out and the perfect wall colour chosen. The result is displayed as images of unparalleled quality, which can be zoomed into and printed together with detailed information about the selected decor. In addition to the visualisation tool, the CD-ROM provided with the collection contains product descriptions, originals for adverts, certificates and the JUST clic! installation instruction. A particularly well-designed catalogue helps customers find their way around using the decor colours and presents an emotional and witty visual impact. Clearly structured technical information and a 4-page decor spread simplify the task of finding the right laminate flooring. Displays with decor samples provide a user-friendly and illustrative overview of the emotion product range.

The matt velvet surface of the Olive tree Sevilla decor from emotion 32, together with 1 mm silenzio underlay, is the perfect choice for fashionable boutiques, shoe shops or high-quality clothes shops. This decor has a very prominent grain with striking colour contrasts from extremely pale yellow to almost dark brown stripes. As might be expected from its name, Olive tree Sevilla, has for many years been especially popular in Mediterranean countries, and this extremely expressive decor will lend a touch of southern flair to any floor space. Olive tree Sevilla is shown off to best effect when combined with plain materials and dark units.

With a 2.5 mm silenzio Plus underlay and the classically elegant Woodline finish, the Havana Ash decor from the emotion 33 range is the perfect choice for prestigious spaces such as offices, studios and conference rooms. This decor epitomises the trend towards darker woods, provides a touch of exotic flair and creates a striking contrast when combined with light walls and modern furniture
