This sales division is one of the few European suppliers that bundles together innovative wood-based products for interior design into a single package, which it then markets through various sales channels. "The ranges and product lines are clearly targeted for each market – wholesalers, fabricators and architects on the one hand, the DIY sector on the other", explains Uwe Bublies, International Head of Sales for DIY.
Different ranges for different sales systems The FLOORLINE and emotion collections, and their themed subsets, are sold through wholesalers and are therefore favoured by floor installers and interior decorators. As a producer of laminate flooring, EGGER is therefore a partner for distributors, fabricators and architects.
A dedicated product programme has been developed for the DIY sector: The MEGAFLOOR collection has been on sale in retail outlets since May 2006. This is a clearly defined range of selected decors that is aimed primarily at the end user. The range differentiates itself from the wholesale products in its features, choice of decors and market positioning.
FLOORLINE – a collection celebrating the diversity of life The FLOORLINE collection was launched in the autumn of 2005 and was enthusiastically taken up by specialist distributors and fabricators. The range, with its 58 different decors offers diversity, sets completely new markers in terms of appearance, structure and combination. With this new edition, EGGER has brought together a complete package of solutions to satisfy the most varied customer requirements. Today’s consumers refuse to be pigeon-holed into a particular lifestyle - they define their own to suit their individual situation.
The themed FLOORLINE COMPACT collection contains exclusive highlights of the FLOORLINE collection. With ten exclusive decors, from exotic woods such as African Zebrano and Brazilian Walnut right through to the classic Royal Beech, the range offers the right floor for every taste. The small, subtle distinction is to be found in the format: the narrow COMPACT format (1292 x 134 mm) highlights the natural vitality and intensely expressive nature of the floor.
emotion – laminate flooring for living The emotion collection has something trendy for every taste. It's broken down into different “palettes” to make it easy for the consumer to choose the right floor. With its wide choice of 50 fashionable decors, this out of the ordinary collection goes out of its way to satisfy the personal taste of the purchaser. The standard Just clic! installation system makes working with emotion supremely easy. The silenzio sound-proofing underlay also makes for a better sounding floor.
From autumn 2007, with the new themed emotion KINGSIZE collection, EGGER will be giving its decors more room to blossom. The large KINGSIZE format (1292 x 326 mm) provides richer detailing and more expression. The new wood, stone and metal decors are a testament to individuality and good taste. The dual qualities of spaciousness and the fascinating play of colours provide a completely new living experience.
MEGAFLOOR – laminate flooring for all of life's situations The MEGAFLOOR range includes 34 selected decors plus seven surfaces individually designed to complement the decor of the laminate floor. The collection is available from DIY outlets, for whom a special product information system has been developed that makes selling simple. MEGAFLOOR is a complete package that fulfils the most diverse needs of the DIY handyman. To make things easier for the user, three categories with an attractive colour system have been developed: M1, M2 and M3 represent the different qualities of the laminate floors. Users make their choice not only on the basis of classification or quality, but increasingly on what they find pleasing.
