The lighting of the interior is increasingly gaining in importance and extraordinary designs are particularly in-vogue. LED lights (Light Emitting Diodes) convince with their visual elegance and have numerous advantages in their application like stability, high efficiency and service life. The LED light system of EGGER Floor Products is unique in the market and can be installed flush with the floor in the exact width of the floor boards and gives laminate floors a modern, individual character.
Easy installation with high demands on design
The LED lights are installed together with the laminate floor. It is not necessary to recess parts of the screed during the installation, which makes it much easier to use. The lights have the same installation height as the laminate floor without any raised or recessed parts. There is a prefabricated all-purpose mounting frame for every lighting element to be used for EGGER Floor Products profile connections. The frame and outer cover of the square LED lights are made of elegant stainless steel. Thanks to its high quality properties, the robust light system which is resistant to shocks is suitable for private room designs at home as well as for lighting of public corridors, meeting rooms and work areas.
The lights require a feed cable, which is offered by EGGER Floor Products in a length of 10 m and has a plug-in connection on both ends. In order to not damage the cable during the installation of the floor, one has to lay an insulating underlay under the laminate floor out of which one makes a cut-out for the cable. For all products equipped with the sound-proofing silenzio system, the cut out channel for the cable is made in the silenzio underlay already attached to the boards. A transformer with on-off switch makes the LED light system of EGGER Floor Products complete. It is possible to connect several LED lights per transformer. A Y-distributor distributes the LED cables and connects the different design elements. The LED system is perfectly developed and can even be connected without an expert.
LED lights in four attractive versions
Depending on the requirements and taste of our customers EGGER Floor Products offers four different versions:
• The LED design element has outer dimensions of 90 x 90 mm and a luminous area of 40 x 40 mm. With a total output of 0.6 Watts the light has a service life of 20,000 hours. The lights are suitable for use with EGGER Floor Products small narrow boards with a laminate thickness of 8 mm.
• The LED round element has a diameter of 90 mm and is used as a add-on lamp. The lamps are available in sets of 5 including corresponding accessories (transformer, cable and connectors). The transparent, blue and orange lenses in the package can be selected by personal taste and replaced at any time. The lamps last 50,000 hours are maintenance free and include a 12 month warranty.
• The LED grid light has a total dimension of 192 x 192 mm and 25 light spots. With an output of 4 Watts the light has a particularly high service life of 50,000 hours. The lights are suitable for use with EGGER Floor Products standard laminate floors with a laminate thickness between 7 and 10.5 mm.
• The LED logo light with a large square luminous area is suitable to display logos or lettering. The logo is printed on a foil and covered with a Plexiglas pane. The logo and the cover can be removed or changed at any time. This version has outer dimensions of 192 x 192 mm and a luminous area of 108 x 108 mm. With an output of 3.5 Watts the LED logo light has a service life of up to 50,000 hours. The lights are suitable for use with EGGER Floor Products standard laminate floors with a laminate thickness between 7 and 10.5 mm.
